COVID-19 TRAVEL UPDATE IN ARMENIA (Updated on May 06, 2021)
✅ Armenia is open for tourism. Foreigners can enter the country by air via Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) or Gyumri Shirak CIS Airport (LWN) and through land borders.
✅ Fully vaccinated foreigners will be able to enter Armenia without having to take a COVID-19 PCR Test.
✅ Foreigners arriving in Armenia, who have not been vaccinated, instead of a 14-day quarantine, need to have a negative result of COVID-19 PCR Test taken 72 hrs before the arrival, or can take a COVID-19 PCR Test after the arrival at the airport and, if the result is negative, skip the 14-day isolation.
✅ The issuance of visas upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport has been temporarily suspended. Citizens of those countries who need a visa to Armenia, must obtain it in advance at the diplomatic missions, or consulates of Armenia abroad, or electronically (e-visa).
✅ From June 01, 2021 it will not be necessary to wear masks on the street in Armenia. Fully vaccinated persons will be exempted from wearing masks indoors from July 01, 2021.
