DAY 1   YEREVAN ARRIVAL
Arrival to Zvartnots International airport. Meet your T/A representative. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Overnight in Yerevan.

DAY 2   YEREVAN CITY TOUR
Breakfast. Full day Yerevan city tour. Visit Victory Park and Mother Armenia monument. Visit Matenadaran – the institute of ancient manuscripts. Take a walking tour of the Cascade Complex, with its Sculpture Park and Cafesjian Center for the Arts. Visit the magnificent building of the Opera House, the postmodern Northern Avenue and the city's main Republic Square. Visit Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum. Overnight in Yerevan.

DAY 3   YEREVAN – KHOR VIRAP – NORAVANK – OLD BRIDGE WINERY – GORIS
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Drive to the Khor Virap Monastery, where the Mt. Ararat reveals its breathtaking size and splendor. Continue to the Vayots Dzor Province, which is Armenia’s most storied wine growing region. Drive through the Gnishik Protected Area, surrounded by red cliffs to visit Noravank. Visit Areni-1 cave, where in 2007, a team of Armenian and Irish archaeologists found a 6,100-year-old winery and a 5,500-year-old leather shoe. Stopover for wine tasting at the local winery Old Bridge, which is famous for its delicious dry red wine. They will lead you to the wineries cozy tasting room to sample some wines, such as red, rose & white - paired with local goat cheese. Drive to Goris. Check into the hotel. Overnight in Goris.

DAY 4   GORIS - TATEV MONASTERY - KHNDZORESK - GORIS
Breakfast. Drive to one of the most spectacular and impressive places in Armenia, the 9th century Tatev Monastery. Take the cable car "Wings of Tatev" for flying over Vorotan gorge and visit the complex. Wings of Tatev is included in the Guinness World Records book as a longest non stop airtram in the World. Continue to Khndzoresk cave city, take a walk through 163 m Swinging Bridge. Have short hike here. Return to Goris. Overnight in Goris.

DAY 5   GORIS - VARDENYATS PASS - MIKAYELYAN FAMILY FARM - LAKE SEVAN - DILIJAN
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel.

Drive to Lake Sevan via the scenic Vardenyats Pass, with a stop at the historic Orbelian Caravanserai, once an important hub along the ancient Silk Road.

Drive to visit the Mikaelyan Family Farm to taste the unique and ecologically clean Armenian cheeses. The Farm is located not far from Noratus.  Tour to Mikaelyan’s creamery consists of visiting underground cheese cellar, learning about Armenian cheesemaking process, traditions and, of course, the tasting of the 10 selective types of craft cheeses. Continue to visit Lake Sevan - the largest lake in Armenia and one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world. The lake is known for its stunning beauty. The Sevanavank Monastery, located on a peninsula in the lake, is also a notable attraction. Drive to Dilijan. Check into the hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Dilijan.

DAY 6   DILIJAN – HAGHPAT – SANAHIN - DILIJAN

Breakfast. Drive to Alaverdi, the largest city in the picturesque Debed Canyon, an area rich with historical monuments and natural beauty. Explore the 10th century Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries, remarkable examples of Armenian religious architecture and designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Return to Dilijan. Dinner. Overnight in Dilijan.

DAY 7   DILIJAN - GARNI TEMPLE - GEGHARD MONASTERY - YEREVAN
Breakfast. Drive to visit the 13th century cave monastery of Geghard (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The name of the monastery originates from the spear, which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion. The Spear currently stored amongst many other relics in the Echmiadzin's Cathedral Museum. Drive to the oldest surviving building on the territory of Armenia, the 1st century Garni Pagan Temple. Visit Garni Gorge, to see the breathtaking vertical cliffs of the octagonal basalt columns, called the "Symphony of Stones". Then visit the local village house, where you take a part in the traditional Armenian bread lavash baking process. Lavash is a flatbread, usually baked in tonir and served with various dishes, used as a wrap for cheese with greens, for sandwiches or enjoyed on its own. Return to Yerevan. Visit Megeryan Carpet factory where you can see a process of creating famous Armenian rugs. Browse through hundreds of antique and new handmade carpets from the private collections of the Megerian Family. Check into hotel. Overnight in Yerevan.

DAY 8   YEREVAN - GYUMRI - YEREVAN
Breakfast. On this day we will explore Armenia’s second-largest city Gyumri, known for its rich history and vibrant culture. Begin your city tour in the heart of Gyumri at the Kumayri Historic District, followed by a visit to the impressive Black Fortress. Take in stunning panoramic views of the city before enjoying an optional lunch at Cherkezi Dzor, one of the best fish restaurants in Gyumri (not included). On your return to Yerevan, make a stop at the iconic Armenian Alphabet Monument, a tribute to the unique Armenian script. Overnight in Yerevan.

DAY 9   YEREVAN - ECHMIATSIN - ZVARTNOTS - YEREVAN
Breakfast. Drive to Echmiatsin, the administrative and spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit the Echmiatsin Main Cathedral (UNESCO) and its museum, which houses sacred relics such as a piece of Noah’s Ark and the Holy Lance used to pierce Jesus on the cross. On the return to Yerevan, stop at Zvartnots to explore the ruins of the magnificent Zvartnots Temple (UNESCO). After arriving in Yerevan, visit the lively Shuka farmers’ market to shop for dried fruits, nuts, local sweets, and spices. Continue to Vernissage flea market, where you can find handmade souvenirs crafted from wood, semi-precious stones, silver, and more. Overnight in Yerevan.
