Sergei Parajanov Museum

When traveling in Armenia, you should definitely visit the Parajanov Museum, which is one of the most popular museums in Yerevan. The museum was opened in 1991, only a year after the death of the director.

Parajanov was a Soviet Armenian film director, screenwriter and artist who made significant contributions to world cinema with his films such as “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” and “The Color of Pomegranates”.

The collection of the museum has about 1,400 exhibits and includes installations, collages, dolls, drawings and many other works of the outstanding master, as well as the interior of his Tbilisi house and personal belongings transported to Yerevan during the artist's lifetime.

Are you planning to visit the Parajanov Museum? Phoenix Tour will gladly reserve your preferred language guided tour. With that reservation, you can skip the line at the ticket office and avoid the guide availability issue.
